June 2022, 1-3: the TORQUE conference will be an opportunity to present the first results on the experimental campaign performed on the porous disk model with motion representing realistic conditions of a floating wind turbine in a properly scaled turbulent boundary layer under consistant surge-motion. May, 7: due to the current health crisis, the final meeting of the SMS project with all the european partners was done by visioconference on Zoom. It was an opportunity to present to the project officer the majors results and achievements performed by the partners. For me, the performance of feedback control for the reduced scale wing prototype was considered as a main achievement realized in the project. The GDR Contrôle des Décollements is a CNRS communauty of researchers working on flow control applications. It covers different approaches in this topic, including experimental and numerical results, control in open-loop, closed-loop, optimization using machine learning, etc. I had an opportunity to present few results of the European project SMS about open-loop and closed-loop on the morphing wing using piezoelectrical actuators and shape memory alloys. The SMS project was invited for a technical session at the AIAA Aviation Forum in Dallas, Texas, USA, 17-21 June 2019. It was an opportunity for different partners of the project to present their work. I had the opportunity to present advanced feedback controllers for the closed -loop control of the trailing edge flow of a morphing wing.
